Built two integrated systems — Hume Logistics and Hume Warehouse — covering intelligent booking, fulfilment, scheduling, LMS, and AI-guided paperless pick and pack.
Hume Building Products operates a high-volume distribution network across Sydney. Their logistics team was coordinating deliveries and warehouse fulfilment through a mix of spreadsheets, phone calls, and disconnected tools — creating bottlenecks, errors, and a heavy administrative load. Warehouse staff were relying on paper-based pick lists, making it impossible to track real-time fulfilment progress or catch errors before they became expensive mistakes.
Hume Logistics — Intelligent booking & fulfilment
We built a web platform that handles the full logistics lifecycle: customer booking, route scheduling, delivery tracking, and a learning management system for driver compliance. The scheduling engine optimises runs based on location, load, and time windows — cutting manual planning time significantly.
Hume Warehouse — AI-guided paperless pick & pack
A tablet-first warehouse app that guides staff through pick and pack operations step by step. The AI layer validates selections in real time, flags discrepancies, and updates fulfilment status instantly — eliminating paper entirely and giving management live visibility into warehouse throughput.
Deep integration between both systems
Logistics and Warehouse share a unified data layer: a delivery booked in Logistics automatically generates a pick job in Warehouse, and fulfilment status flows back in real time. This single source of truth removed the manual handoffs that were causing delays and errors.
