Planet Explorer — Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 10 August 2026

The short version

Planet Explorer collects nothing, sends nothing, and shows no advertising. It has no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party code of any kind. The app requests no device permissions at all — not even network access — so the permission list on its store page is empty. Everything you do stays on your own device, and deleting the app deletes it.

This policy covers the Planet Explorer mobile app published by Lion Force Pty Ltd. The app is a solar-system flight game written to be read and played by children, and it is built to be handed to one unsupervised, so it is designed to hold no personal information at all.

1. Information We Collect

None. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers — we operate no servers for it. Specifically, Planet Explorer does not gather:

  • Names, email addresses, or contact details
  • Location, device identifiers, or advertising IDs
  • Photos, camera, microphone, or contacts — the app requests no device permissions whatsoever
  • Usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostics
  • Any information at all about the person using it

2. Why It Cannot Collect Anything

This is a statement about how the app is built rather than a promise about how it is run. Planet Explorer ships as a single self-contained program with no third-party software in it, and every world you fly to is generated on your device as you arrive rather than downloaded from anywhere.

The app makes no network requests of any kind, and on Android it does not even hold the INTERNET permission that would let it try. You can verify that for yourself: the permissions section of the store listing is empty. It works the same in a tunnel or on a plane as it does at home.

3. What Is Stored On the Device

So that the game remembers where you were, it saves a small amount of information in the app’s own private storage on the device:

  • Which worlds have been surveyed, so mission badges persist between sessions
  • A weight and an age, if they are typed into the pilot row — used only to work out on the device what you would weigh and how high you could jump on other worlds
  • Whether the body-data panel was left open or folded

That is the whole list. The pilot row is the only thing in the app that can be typed into, both of its fields are optional, and the game is fully playable without ever filling them in.

All three values are private to the app, are removed when it is uninstalled, and never leave the device. They are not transmitted, not backed up to us, and not readable by any other app.

4. No Advertising, No Tracking, No Third Parties

The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no analytics or attribution software. It integrates no third-party SDKs, social networks, or login providers, and there is nobody for us to share information with because none is gathered.

There are also no links out of the app — nothing that can be tapped which opens a browser, a store, or another application — and no way for one player to see or send anything to another.

5. Children’s Privacy

Planet Explorer is suitable for children, and is designed to comply with the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Apple App Store Kids Category requirements, and the Google Play Families policy.

Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, verifiable parental consent is not required for its operation. There is nothing in it that needs to be kept behind a parental gate: no purchases, no advertising, no chat or shared content, and nowhere to leave the app for.

6. Deleting the Information

Uninstalling the app removes everything it has saved, and clearing its storage from the device’s app settings does the same without removing the app. As none of it has ever reached us, there is nothing for you to ask us to delete.

7. Changes to This Policy

If a future version of the app changes what it stores or introduces any network feature, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change with it.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy, or about the app, are welcome.
